INDIA: Sponsor a University Scholar

With 81 graduates and counting over the past 9 years, our Visions India university scholars initiative has already helped to transform the lives of many deserving young adults, most of whom are the first in their families to finish university.

Young people from poor, rural, scheduled caste / scheduled tribe communities face incredible economic, gender, and socio-cultural challenges in pursuing higher education. We work closely with exceptional young women and men from these backgrounds in preparing them for college and helping them to realize their dreams.

For just $30/month (or $360 / year), you can make all the difference in helping them to realize their dreams!

We are also in need of tablets for each of our new university scholars (13 total this year) to support their academic journey, which is an additional $200/person.

& VISIONS CENTER FOR THE DEAF (Hawassa, Ethiopia)

Please join us in sponsoring a student at our Visions Center for the Deaf or brand new Visions Academy - School for the Deaf, both of which are located in Hawassa, Ethiopia.

The Visions Academy School for the Deaf is the first and only deaf school in the country’s 5th largest city! Starting with Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2, we already have 50+ students attending who are now receiving a free education in formal Ethiopian Sign Language with the support they need to succeed!

In order to sustain these operations, as well as to support students who regularly attend our Visions Center for the Deaf and access a whole host of services there, we need sponsors for each of our students. All of the students listed below are still in need of a sponsor!
